The first piece of Prime FRib was so undercooked and bloody that my partner couldn't eat it. The waiter was excellent, the food marginal and overpriced. I don t see how cold or spicy shrimp, mussels and tiny clams and tilapia constitutes Ultimate Seafood. It advertises Prime Rib and Ultimate Seafood. The Saturday night Epic Buffet was expensive. The place is cavernous and hard to navigate. There are no signs near the track entrance directing people inside. One we parked in the surface parking lot (there are two parking garages) you need to guess how to enter the facility. I hadn't been to Charles Town Races and Slots, now Hollywood Casion, since table games were started. I will DEFINITELY return to play poker here. That is the first time out of about 20 trips to US casino poker rooms that I left a loser and it was MY FAULT. As it was I lost about $200, but that was my terrible play on 3 hands. If I hadn't played 3 hands like a beginner moron and lost almost $1,000 on those three hands, I would have won a decent amount. I had a 2 minute wait to buy my chips at the poker room cashier and 3 or 4 minutes to wait to cash out when I left 6 hours later. The passage way from the poker room to the men's room was a little crummy, but the bathroom itself looked brand new and was very clean and well maintained. You had to go to the grandstand area or other designated areas outside the casino. Maybe before, but when I was there 2 days ago NO SMOKING WAS ALLOWED ANYWHERE IN THE CASINO.

(East garage, with no problem finding a parking space close to the entrance to the casino and grandstand for the horse racing.) I also have read complaints about smoking and how bad it is.

I found the parking easy and a 30 foot walk directly to the elevators (well directed) and down to the L level for the casino. From what I have read, this is apparently a significant improvement from just a couple of months ago. I found the poker room well organized and the staff bot courteous and capable. Went straight to the poker room and was sitting down playing in less than 5 minutes. I found the food delivered by the cocktail waitresses to my table and the food in the sit down restaurant to be as good as any I have had in Vegas or AC. For everyone who complains about the buffet, I would simply say.who goes to a casino for the food? AND who the heck wants to eat at a buffet where everyone under the sun has sneezed and picked over your food. I do nothing in a casino except play No Limit Hold-Em poker. I live less than 2 hours away, so I said, what the heck, give it a try. I almost decided not to take my day trip to Charles Town Hollywood Casino because of some of the bad reviews I read on-line.
